The Wasps bested the Bruins in a high-scoring affair, 12-6.
The Bruins struggled to contain the high-powered offense of the Wasps, giving up 12 runs.
The Wasps fired up the offense in the first inning.
The Wasps took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Dalin Ludlow doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Preston Lunt singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Tryker Greenhalgh singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Cooper Ford drew a walk, scoring one run.
The Bruins put up four runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by Aaron Hair, a single by Mark Preston, and a groundout by Blake Cooper.
Easton Warren got the win for the Wasps. He lasted five innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out five and walking one.
Chayton Ward took the loss for the Bruins. He surrendered seven runs on seven hits over three and a third innings, striking out two.
Brock Craygun started the game for the Wasps. He went two innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out three
The Bruins tallied ten hits on the day. Ryder Madsen and Preston all managed multiple hits for the Bruins. Madsen went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Bruins in hits.
The Wasps tallied 13 hits in the game. Ludlow, Greenhalgh, and Teagan Christensen each managed multiple hits for the Wasps. The Wasps stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Ludlow led the way with three.
