Mountain View High School’s swim team competed in their seventh competition of the season and second for the week Friday night in the Alpine School District Invite.
The Bruins foreshadowed some awesome results for the Battle for the Paddle this year by placing ahead of the Orem Tigers. The final scores being: American Fork 890, Pleasant Grove 647, Westlake 613, Lehi 458, Skyridge 442, Mountain View 348, Orem 332, and finally Timpanogos 100.
Mountain View had some very good swims across the board, but did have a stand out in Freshman Tanner Harmon who took the male high point award for his class.
Mountain View will start off the new year with a bang by swimming in back to back dual meets the first two days back after the winter break. The first being an away meet against Pleasant Grove and the second being another away meet against Salem Hills.
