OREM, Utah — The Mountain View girls basketball team scored 20 points in the second quarter on their way to earning a 47-37 win over Cyprus on Thursday night at Mountain View High School.

Sophomore Lili Suguturaga led the team with 14 points and Junior Bella Brooks contributed 13 points. Kate Shirts also poured in 12 points for the Lady Bruins. Brooks and Shirts each made a game-high three 3-point field goals.
Mountain View (2-1) has won two consecutive games after falling in the season opener at Provo. The Lady Bruins look to extend their win streak as they host Spanish Fork (0-3) on Tuesday, Dec. 15th. The game will begin at 7 p.m. MST and will be broadcast live on the NFHS Network (subscription).
