Multiple Teams · Mountain View rises to second place in UIAAA Directors Cup standings

Mountain View High School has risen to second in the 5A Directors Cup Standings. The Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (UIAAA) scores Utah high school athletic programs annually for athletic achievement, academic success, and sportsmanship.

MVHS’s second-place standing has a lot to do with our Boys and Girls Basketball teams getting playoff wins. The girl’s basketball team making it all the way to the semi-finals was very impactful. Read more about their success here. The wrestling team did their part, winning the 5A academic state championship and qualifying 14 athletes to the state wrestling meet, placing 5th overall. MVHS wrestling state qualifiers can be found here.

MVHS has the opportunity to continue to rise based on the performances of baseball, softball, and track & field, once those activities resume.
